Second Shift Warehouse Specialist Processor Our company specializes in high-quality pick-and-pack services for Canadian and US customers. We are located in the Blaine area and are looking for package processing specialist to work part time evenings. Most of the team performing this role use do so for extra income.

Primary Responsibilities Include:

Unloading all product into the warehouse via pallet jack of forklift. Product is palletized and we expect around 4-12 pallets of product delivered each evening. Processing packages throughout the evening. This includes scanning individual packages, properly applying a shipping label, and sorting the packages by carrier for outboard shipment. Maintaining the highest levels of efficiency, quality, and safety throughout the work shift. Other shipping and/or warehousing tasks my be assigned as needed.

Job Requirements:

MUST live local to Blaine. This is a physical, fast-paced environment. Applicants must be able to be on their feet throughout their shift and routinely and safely lift, manage, and carry boxes up to 50 pounds on their own, and move heavier boxes on occasion safely. Flexibility in work-hours - applicant must be willing to adjust their shift to come in early or stay late when needed to minimize impact to the picking floor. Primary hours will be during the evening, typically starting between 5:00 PM and 7:30 PM. Must work well on their own, and in a team environment. Must be able to self-maintain and efficient work pace and have great attention to detail.

Work hours will vary:

Shift start-time will vary daily as it depends when a truck coming down from Vancouver clears the border. Generally, the start time will be between 5:00 PM and 7:30 PM each evening and each shift generally runs from 1-3 hours each evening. Potential work days are Sunday evening through Friday evening.

Pay:

Base Pay is $18/hour + bonus. Bonuses are paid every pay period and determined by your scan efficiency. Quality standards must be met in order to realize an efficiency bonus. Seasoned order processors have earned an extra +$10 per hour for each hour of scan time worked.
