Overview Join our dynamic manufacturing team as a Coating Line Operator and play a vital role in producing high-quality coated products through precise and efficient operation of coating equipment. This energetic position offers an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment where safety, quality, and craftsmanship are at the forefront. As a Coating Line Operator, you will be responsible for handling machinery that applies plastic coating and printing to various paper products (Kraft rolls) according to customer requirements. Duties Set up and operate the coating machine according to SOP and training. Monitor the production process for consistency. Watch product quality to meet quality standards and troubleshooting issues. Perform quality and maintenance check on equipment. Ensure equipment is clean and maintains a tidy work area (5S Standards). Adhere to all safety guidelines and regulations. Document operational data and ensure compliance with company standards. Drive forklift with different attachments (Clamp and forks) to move material and paper rolls. Keep machine and warehouse area organize. Daily inspect forklift to determine the need for repairs and guarantee safety by performing regular maintenance Inspect input and output materials for quality standards. Hold the material not in spec. All documentation involving the production must be verified and checked for accuracy. All raw materials and finished products must be checked for quality and accuracy. Identify quality defects and follow nonconformance procedures for reporting. Ensure Safety and Quality by identifying workplace hazards and areas for improvement. Adherent to production schedules Must follow all established processes. Ensure all site rules are followed: (a) non-smoking site (b) No cell phones on the floor (c) no ear buds while operating lifts Any and all other assigned duties The candidate must speak, read, and write English, and have basic computer knowledge. This position requires the ability to work 12 hours per day and weekly day/night rotating shift and weekends as needed.
