Full Job Description Description:

Powder Coating Systems is an equal opportunity employer. Powder Coating Systems is seeking to hire a Floor Team Member for Swing Shift. This shift runs Monday through Friday from 1:00PM to 9:30PM. It is a full-time position. Starting pay for this position is $18-20 per hour depending on experience. Benefits for employees after their initial ninety days include: Six paid holidays. Paid Time Off (PTO) that accrues from the first day of work. Dental, Life and other insurance through Colonial Life. (This does not include medical.) Floor Team Members are our backbone. They are responsible for hanging, prepping, inspecting and packing parts. The best Floor Team Members have an eye for detail and can stay productive through the shift. They will be expected to operate a forklift, but the right candidates will be taught on-site to do this. This can be physically demanding at times. There will be constant standing, bending, and lifting up to fifty pounds. Floor Team Members are expected to wear steel/composite toe foot wear as well as provided safety gear when required.
Requirements:
Mandatory Requirements:
Employees must have reliable transportation to commute to work on a daily basis. (Although Pierce Transit does have routes nearby, we still require our employees to be on time daily and to remain the whole shift. ) Employees must be able to provide documentation to satisfy the I-9 required to prove identity as well as the right to work in the United States. (By law, these must be the original documents and not copies.) Employee must be able to constantly lift fifty pounds. ( We do ,for safety sake, encourage two-person lifts as well as using the indoor crane and forklifts.)
Helpful Requirements:
Previous experience working in a shop environment. Experience using hand and air tools. Previous experience operating a forklift. Previous experience wrapping pallets.
