Crate Packer Responsibilities:

• Identify materials and match them to the correct crate or pallet
• Measure, pack, brace, and secure generator parts and other materials
• Use foam, strapping, foil, and other packing materials to protect products
• Build crates and pallets according to BoxCAD plans
• Use hand tools, power tools, and industrial equipment
• Complete required paperwork, production records, and equipment checklists
• Perform basic equipment maintenance
• Keep the work area clean and organized
• Assist with training new packers when assigned
• Follow all company safety procedures and PPE requirements Requirements for

Crate Packer:

• High School Diploma/GED preferred
• Previous crating, packing, woodworking, or manufacturing experience preferred
• Knowledge of hand tools, power tools, and material handling equipment
• Ability to read measurements and perform basic math
• Ability to safely position and secure materials
• Ability to stand and walk on concrete floors for extended periods
• Ability to regularly stand and use hands to operate tools and equipment
• Ability to bend, kneel, crouch, reach, and climb as needed
• Ability to lift up to 50+ lbs
• Good vision, hearing, balance, and coordination
