Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Count and pack finished pouches in accordance with customer specifications. Perform visual inspections and pouch measures. Document production activity and material traceability/usage calculations to determine finished quantities and line efficiencies. Create, label, and tag finished product. Communicate with Operator to maintain pouch specifications within defined tolerances. Set up line supplies to include making boxes. Perform general housekeeping and period cleaning as needed. Perform other duties as assigned.

Skills and Qualifications:

Must be able to read a metric and standard ruler. The ability to communicate effectively. High school math skills. The ability to multi-task. The ability to work as a team member. The ability to read blueprints is a plus.

Physical Requirements:

Frequent standing, walking, and use of hands to operate tools and equipment. Ability to lift and move objects over 50 pounds. Vision requirements include close vision, color recognition, and focus adjustment. Reasonable accommodations may be made for individuals with disabilities.

Work Environment:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee infrequently works near moving mechanical parts and is infrequently exposed to fumes or airborne particles. The noise level in the work environment is quiet - hearing protection is required on the manufacturing floor.

Protective Clothing/ Equipment Required:

Hearing protection, safety shoes, and GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) requirements must be worn in all manufacturing areas. Additional PPE may be required as needed.
