Packaging Team Member (Temporary 6-Week Project)
Location:
Stoughton, WI Shift:
1st Shift | Monday-Thursday | 5:00 AM - 3:00
PM Pay Rate:
$20.00/hour
Assignment Length:
6 Weeks (Temporary Project) Position Summary We are seeking reliable and motivated Packaging Team Members to join our team for a 6-week temporary assignment in a food manufacturing environment. This role supports the packaging and production of cheese products while ensuring quality, safety, and production standards are met. Essential Job Duties Assist in the operation of machinery and equipment used in cheese conversion and food manufacturing processes to ensure efficient production. Load packaging materials and raw ingredients into manufacturing equipment. Safely move products and materials throughout the facility using equipment such as electric pallet jacks, hand trucks, and other material-handling tools. Inspect products for quality and identify defects to ensure products meet company standards. Package finished cheese products into designated containers with accurate labeling and adherence to packaging guidelines. Clean and maintain equipment, tools, and work areas according to sanitation and safety procedures. Assist with inventory management of raw materials, packaging supplies, and finished goods. Follow all food safety regulations, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), and workplace safety guidelines. Qualifications Previous experience operating packaging machinery in a manufacturing or food processing environment is preferred but not required. Ability to safely operate an electric pallet jack. Basic math skills, including the ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide whole numbers. Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality products. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing production needs. Willingness to work overtime or extended hours as needed. Physical Requirements Ability to stand for the entire shift. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds. Frequent gripping, grasping, twisting, bending, and reaching. Work Environment Food manufacturing facility. Must comply with all GMP and food safety requirements. Cold working conditions may be present at times.
Pay:
$20.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
