Job Summary Who You Are:

Ideal candidates will take pride inanage purchasing and procurement for five showrooms while handling the implementation of policies and procedures to streamline the ordering, shipping, and delivery of luxury furniture and cabinetry. You will be working with an experienced team of warehouses/freight forwarders/delivery services that specialize in white glove and dock to dock deliveries.

The Role:

At Studio Como, we care deeply about delivering the best experience to our clients. That experience includes the journey from order to delivery. As the Procurement Manager you will have ownership of this process to ensure that each and every client's products are delivered as expected. You will be involved in defining processes to optimize this client experience as well as managing these processes on a daily basis. You will also be responsible for the interaction and negotiation with 3rd party warehouses and delivery services, freight forwarder arrangements, and communication with manufacturers to ensure efficient delivery of products. Responsibilities and Duties Role Responsibilities Manage order tracking system which will give visibility into each step of the order process and minimize lead time from order to delivery Define notification framework for updating clients and internal stakeholders on order status Manage scheduling of all white glove deliveries and ensure customer expectations are fulfilled Manage all relationships with freight forwarders, brokers and third party warehouses Oversee container planning and LCL shipments Manage delivery and installation of large furniture and cabinetry projects Qualifications and Skills Role Requirements Process-driven professional with 3+ years in an procurement role preferably in the interior design or architecture field Detail-oriented Strong communicator who strives to implement solutions to share knowledge Logistics experience - specifically with international manufacturers, international freight forwarders and domestic 3rd party warehouses/delivery services Comfortable with suite of Google solutions (Drive, Sheets, Documents) Relentless pursuer of the optimal client experience
