Materials Supervisor - Procurement/Supply Chain Liberty Personnel Services, Inc, LP89206 - 4.6 Township of Hamilton, NJ Job Details Full-time $70,000 - $80,000 a year 1 day ago Benefits Health insurance 401(k) Paid time off Qualifications Production management systems Full Job Description Materials Supervisor - Procurement/Supply Chain Position Overview The Materials Supervisor assists the Materials Manager in overseeing the procurement, receipt, inventory, and distribution of materials required to support manufacturing operations. This position provides leadership to Purchasing, Shipping, and Receiving while coordinating material requirements with Production, Scheduling, Quality, and other internal departments. Responsibilities Provide direction and leadership to Purchasing, Shipping, and Receiving teams. Coordinate requirements for raw materials, components, semi-finished goods, finished goods, and outside services. Monitor purchasing status, material availability, supplier performance, and delivery schedules. Maintain inventory accuracy, appropriate stock levels, and inventory turnover to support production. Follow up with suppliers regarding orders, shortages, delivery schedules, and quality issues. Develop and improve processes for purchasing, shipping, receiving, transportation, and inventory control. Analyze material quality, movement, usage, and availability. Work with Production, Scheduling, Quality, and other departments to ensure material requirements are met. Monitor key KPIs including OTD, Stock in Days, and Year-End Inventory . Support production schedules and ensure material availability meets customer and project requirements. Act as backup to the Scheduling Team to ensure continuity of information and shop orders. Follow all applicable environmental, health, and safety requirements and participate in risk assessments. Qualifications 3+ years of experience in Materials, Procurement, Purchasing, Supply Chain, Production Planning, or Production Control within a manufacturing environment. Previous supervisory or team leadership experience. Experience with MRP/ERP systems; Infor XA strongly preferred . Strong knowledge of inventory control, purchasing, material planning, and supplier management. Excellent analytical, negotiation, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Strong computer/PC skills and communication abilities. Bachelor's degree preferred. Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship. On-site. Compensation & Benefits $70,000 - $80,000 + bonus , 401(k), PTO, healthcare, and comprehensive benefits package.
