As the company enters an exciting new phase of growth and operational transformation, it is seeking a strategic and forward-thinking Procurement Manager to lead sourcing, supplier partnerships, purchasing, and global supply chain initiatives. This is a rare opportunity to build and shape a modern procurement function, influence business performance at the leadership level, and drive meaningful impact across domestic and international operations while leveraging emerging AI and digital technologies to create competitive advantage. Responsibilities Develop and execute procurement and sourcing strategies that support company growth, profitability, operational efficiency, and supply chain resilience. Lead supplier sourcing, qualification, RFQ/RFP processes, contract negotiations, and long-term vendor partnerships to deliver measurable cost savings and performance improvements. Manage relationships with approximately 100 domestic and international suppliers, driving accountability for quality, delivery, service, and continuous improvement. Oversee purchasing, inventory replenishment, supplier performance, and material planning to ensure uninterrupted production and customer fulfillment. Partner closely with operations, engineering, production, quality, and finance leaders to align procurement strategies with business objectives and growth plans. Direct global procurement and logistics activities, including international sourcing, import/export compliance, customs, tariffs, and transportation management. Analyze spend, inventory, commodity trends, and supplier performance data to identify opportunities for savings, risk reduction, and process optimization. Champion the adoption of AI-enabled and digital procurement tools that improve sourcing speed, spend visibility, supplier intelligence, inventory optimization, and decision-making effectiveness. Qualifications & Experience Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Procurement, Business, Engineering, Operations, or a related field; professional certifications such as CPSM, CPM, CSCP, APICS, or ISM are a plus. 7-10 years of progressive procurement, sourcing, purchasing, or supply chain leadership experience within a manufacturing, industrial, or engineered-products environment. Proven success negotiating supplier agreements and leading sourcing initiatives that drive cost savings, improve service levels, and strengthen supplier relationships. Experience managing international procurement, global supply chains, logistics, tariffs, customs requirements, and supplier networks. Strong knowledge of inventory management, ERP systems, procurement analytics, supplier performance management, and demand planning processes. Demonstrated ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders and lead change within a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Comfortable leveraging data, analytics, and emerging AI technologies to improve procurement performance and business outcomes. Strategic, hands-on leader with strong business acumen, negotiation skills, and the ability to balance cost, quality, service, and risk.
