Full-time | Monday-Friday Make a Lasting Difference in the Lives of Children and Families Acres of Hope, a faith-based residential renewal program serving women and children, is seeking a compassionate, organized, and energetic Children's Program Coordinator to lead our trauma-informed children's program. What You'll DoProgram Leadership Coordinate and oversee the daily operations of our children's program for infants through age 12. Create engaging weekly lesson plans that promote social-emotional growth, learning, and play. Foster a safe, structured, and trauma-informed environment where children can heal and thrive. Plan family activities, crafts, field trips, and special events that strengthen parent-child relationships. Child & Family Support Build meaningful relationships with children and support their individualized developmental goals. Partner with parents through positive communication, encouragement, and family engagement activities. Monitor children's progress and collaborate with the Family Services team to support each child's growth. Team Leadership Recruit, train, coach, and schedule volunteers, interns, and support staff. Help create a collaborative, encouraging, and mission-focused team culture. Participate in staff meetings, ongoing training, and professional development. What We're Looking For At least two years of experience working with children in education, childcare, social services, or a related field. A degree in Child Development, Education, Psychology, Social Work, or a related field is preferred. Experience with or an understanding of trauma-informed care and vulnerable populations is highly valued. Strong communication, organizational, and leadership skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining a calm and nurturing presence. Basic computer skills, including Google Workspace. Valid driver's license. Ability to actively engage with children, including lifting up to 25 pounds and participating in active play. No prior experience with Trust-Based Relational Intervention (TBRI) or the Sanctuary Model? We provide training, coaching, and ongoing support to help you succeed in this role.
