Provide direct, short term, solution focused NMC counseling services using psychotherapeutic services, such as cognitive therapy, solution-focused brief therapy, family systems therapy, expressive therapies, etc. Refer clients with issues falling outside the authorized scope of care (e.g., schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, eing disorders, substance use disorders, major depression, etc.) within the Fleet and Family Support Center (FFSC) to military or civilian behavioral health providers. Initie, develop, and facilite group trement programs to address the needs of families. Provide critical incident intervention services, when requested. Conduct on-site/regional quarterly quality assurance (QA) reviews of cases, to ensure th all NMC counseling services provided are safe and of good quality. Document all NMC services provided in the FFSP management informion system. II. Installion Family Advocacy Program (FAP) (40%) Provide initial and on-going case management services. Triage clients, educe on manded and required reporting protocols of child and domestic abuse, conduct risk and lethality assessments, develop safety and trement plans, provide referrals, establish individualized trement goals tailored to the needs of service/family members, and follow-up on child abuse/neglect and domestic abuse allegions involving military members and their families. Identify crisis situions when conducting clinical assessments and provide immedie crisis intervention. Provide non-medical trement/intervention for individuals, couples, children, families, and groups on mters pertaining to family maltrement, Initie, develop, and facilite evidence-based group trement programs to address the needs of families involved in and risk for family violence, such as domestic abuse offender's group, parenting group, and victim support groups. Manage assigned cases, consulting with the FAP Supervisor on highly complex or unique cases. Coordine with the assigned FAP Victim Advoce, when needed, to ensure victims needs and concerns are addressed. Notify the Family Advocacy Representive (FAR) when trement circumstances meet criteria for convening the installion High Risk for Violence-Coordined Community Response Team. Comply with regional and local SOPs, counseling desk guidance and FFSP certificion standards reled to FAP. Participe in quality assurance and risk management activities, including Ongoing Professional Practice Evaluion, peer review and clinical case consultion on FAP trement. Coordine or deliver FAP training and facilite educion services and ongoing communicion to inform of the problems of family violence, FAP requirements and the services available. May serve as the primary or alterne FAR, responsible for overall management of the installion FAP. As the acting FAR, serve as SME advisor/consultant to the IDC chair, present cases to the IDC, and chair the CCSM, providing consultion and recommendions for
FAP . III.
Problemic Sexual Behavior in Children and Youth (10%) Receive reports of problemic sexual behaviors in children and youth (PSB-CY) from military and civilian representives and take approprie action per

requirements. Provide or coordine clinical services access with other FAP providers or with community clinical providers. Provide or coordine specialized assessments and evaluions when recommended by the CCSM. Coordine with healthcare providers on safety and supervision planning for children and families affected by problemic sexual behaviors. Serve as the designed case manager and primary FAP point of contact for PSB-CY Support children and families affected by PSB-CY by providing -risk and safety planning informion for the coordined community response (CCR) Promote public awareness, prevention, early identificion, and approprie resources and referral informion for PSB-CY through training, coordined public awareness campaigns, distributed informion, community activities, or unit briefings. 1354 V. Community Liaison duties comprise (10%) Liaison with cities, counties, stes, federal, non-government agencies, and military agencies and commands to enhance FAP prevention and response affecting the military community. Represent the Navy community liaison meetings, educing on domestic violence risk/protective factors, collaboring on coordining services for military members and their families, and engaging in community domestic violence prevention and awareness activities to establish or strengthen relionships with other agencies serving the target populion. 1754.8, "Credentials Review and Clinical Privileging of Clinical Providers within Department of the Navy Family Readiness Program". This position is designed Non-Critical Sensitive. Incumbents must obtain and maintain a determinion of eligibility for Secret security clearance of access for the durion of employment, including a background investigion and credit check. This position requires regular contact with children under the age of 18 and a favorable determinion of suitability to do so, and periodic re-verificion check of multiple agency records. This position requires Temporary Duty (TDY) or business travel approximely 10% of the time away from the regular duty stion to tend or provide training, conduct FFSP certificion s, or deliver services aboard ships. This position requires the incumbent to have a valid, ste-issued driver's license. The position may require working flexible hours, such as 0700-1500 or 0900-1800 to accommode client's needs to have after hour care, including weekend hours. This position requires routine on-site access to government facilities. The incumbent may perform the required tasks an off-site locion for situional telework only. Professional knowledge of family violence dynamics and skill in applying the Diagnostic and Stistical Manual of Mental Disorders to identify situions of family violence, conduct risk assessments and coordine safety planning. Knowledge of military lifestyle, demands and stressors to support families with meeting the obligions and challenges of Navy life. Broad professional knowledge of trement methods for abusers to assess abusive behavior, and develop an approprie trement method. Broad knowledge of clinical and non-clinical support services for victims to provide support to victims or refer them to approprie agency or organizion for their recovery and safety. Professional knowledge of pterns of abusive behavior, abuse response, substance abuse, human behavior, human sexuality, tention deficit disorder, and juvenile delinquency within families to accurely address a wide variety of behaviors and provide or coordine the approprie trement plan for addressing clients specific needs. Professional knowledge of principles and practices of human behavior, research methods, group dynamics, motivional psychology, developmental psychology, and family systems therapy to collabore on developing evidence based group trement curricula. Expert knowledge of and skill in applying professional verbal communicion methods and techniques to present sensitive and potentially controversial informion to various groups, effectively interview alleged offenders and victims, collabore with other agencies and facilities, present professional training; and communice with multiple personnel various echelons. Professional skill in effectively managing and supporting multiple clients, including documention, reporting, and collaborion.
