Job Description
Job Summary Global organization in Watsonville, CA (Santa Cruz County) seeking a Charitable Giving Program Coordinator to play a vital role in supporting the operations of a global philanthropic program that enriches the lives of communities and empowers employees to pursue their passion for giving back. This is more than an administrative role—you'll be the engine behind our charitable fund disbursements, data management, and partner support, ensuring every dollar and volunteer hour is accounted for and aligned with our mission. Job Responsibilities Assist in supporting the distribution and tracking of Charitable Funds Ensure the efficient and timely disbursement of charitable funds for volunteer and donation-matching programs, based on post-project survey responses Reconcile transactions on a monthly, quarterly, and year-end basis. Support Giving Program Manager in disbursing funds for approved sponsorships and Grants as needed. Ensure that the relevant parties review and approve funding requests. Follow up on post-project survey to ensure timely submission of the after-action reports. Help organize training and convenings of employees active in the Giving program. Serve as a "help desk" function this includes answering employee questions about the program, submission of funding requests, emails and inquiries. Candidate Profile Strong communication skills (verbal and written) Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience 2+ years of professional experience working within a corporate/large business organization Advanced Excel skills and proficiency in data management Advanced PowerPoint presentations and ability to create clear and effective presentations. Intermediate knowledge of other MS Office applications (e.g., Teams, Outlook) Some experience with event planning and meeting planning
