Job Description

The SNAP Program, which stands for
STOP NOW AND
PLAN, is an evidence-based curriculum where youth practice how to respond to difficult situations in a way that is helpful, not hurtful, and are able to make better plans for themselves. The SNAP Program involves youth ages 6-17 that range from having behavior issues in school to currently being on probation and struggling with emotional regulation, problem solving skills and self-control. The program is one hour a week for 13 weeks or one hour twice a week for 6 weeks. The SNAP Coordinator works directly with the youth and youth's family and/or the youth's probation officer to make sure the youth is learning skills for better decision-making in the future. The Program Coordinator will be responsible for maintaining all documentation/program files including data entry to pre and post assessments and follow-up calls after services to ensure appropriate resources are provided and program files. The Program Coordinator will have open communication with youth's family and/or probation officer and work as a team to help improve youth's outcome and future decision-making. We are currently looking for two coordinators, one to be stationed in Pinellas County and one to be station in Manatee County in Bradenton.
