Job Description

Office Coordinator / Bereavement & Volunteer Coordinator Oakstone Hospice Oakstone Hospice is looking for a compassionate, organized, and dependable Office Coordinator to join our growing hospice team. Because we are a small hospice, this position will wear several hats and will also serve as an temporary Bereavement and Volunteer Coordinator . We are looking for someone who enjoys keeping things organized, supporting a team, connecting with people, and jumping in wherever needed. Key Responsibilities Support the daily administrative operations of the hospice office. Answer phones and assist patients, families, staff, and community partners. Assist leadership and clinical staff with administrative needs, records, correspondence, and special projects. Help maintain an organized, welcoming, and positive office environment that support our culture. Coordinate the hospice bereavement program, including mailings, documentation, and memorial activities. Coordinate the hospice volunteer program, including recruitment, onboarding, training, documentation, and volunteer assignments. Track volunteer activities and maintain required program records. Assist with other duties as needed to support our growing hospice team. What We're Looking For Strong organization and attention to detail. Excellent communication and people skills. Dependable, positive, and able to take initiative. Comfortable managing multiple responsibilities. Compassionate and professional when working with patients and families. Administrative or healthcare experience preferred, but hospice experience is not required. Comfortable using computers, email, and standard office programs. Why Oakstone Hospice? Pay:
$22.00 - $25.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
