Job Description

  • Position Purpose:
  • As part of Meridian Health Plan, the Program Manager is responsible for overseeing HealthWorks agency performance, ensuring compliance with DCFS and YouthCare requirements, managing provider relationships, leading audits, and supporting statewide program operations across Illinois.
  • Key Details:
  • This is an _hourly role_ .

Applicants residing in Illinois (greater Chicago area) highly preferred due to business need and in-person department meetings. Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without the need for employment-based visa sponsorship now or in the future. Sponsorship and future sponsorship are not available for this opportunity, including employment-based visa types H-1B, L-1, O-1, H-1B1, F-1, J-1, OPT, or CPT. Program Oversight & Compliance

+ Ensure compliance with HealthWorks Program Manual requirements, contract obligations, and DCFS standards.

+ Support business department initiatives that promote, quality, safety and cost of care opportunity including requirements gathering, creation of plans and schedules, obtaining and managing resources, and facilitating program execution and deployment. Audit and Quality Management

+ Conduct quarterly desk reviews and audits of the agencies.

+ Analyze audit results and provide coaching, training, and technical assistance.

+ Utilize corporate and industry standard tools and techniques to effectively oversee programs according to department procedures. Agency and Stakeholder Management

+ Serve as the primary liaison between YouthCare, DCFS, and HealthWorks agencies.

+ Facilitate quarterly agency meetings and operational discussions.

+ Coordinate cross-functional meetings with various functional areas to meet overall stakeholder expectations and business objectives. Performance Monitoring & Reporting

+ Review monthly and quarterly performance reports.

+ Maintain detailed business process documentation including meeting minutes, action items, issues lists and risk management plans as applicable.

+ Create and monitor all department deliverables to ensure adherence to quality standards including clinical reporting documents, related reference materials, and policy and procedure documentation. Training & Technical Assistance

+ Develop and deliver training for HealthWorks agencies.

+ Communicate program status to management and key stakeholders. Operational Improvement

+ Identify trends and opportunities to improve outcomes and compliance.

+ Identify resources, resolve issues, and mitigate risks.

+ Identify requirements, procedures and problems to improve existing processes.

  • Education/Experience:
  • Bachelor's Degree Bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent experience required. 1+ years of project management or business process experience preferred.
  • Preferred Experience
  • : Program Management, Healthcare Operations, Audit Management, Relationship Management.
Pay Range:

$27.02 - $48.55 per hour
