QUALIFICATIONS
High School education or equivalent with 3 years experience in related field. Provides own transportation for program coordination needs.
SKILL SETS
Ability to gather data, compile information, and prepare reports.
PHYSICAL AND ENVIORMENTAL DEMANDS
Visual acuity and average hand dexterity necessary for the overall operations of the program(s). Frequent talking and hearing when communicating with individuals, staff, families, other service providers, and businesses. Patience, tolerance, and ability to deal with stress on a daily basis. Possible exposures to blood borne pathogens, hazardous waste, and communicable diseases. Frequent sitting, standing, walking, lifting, occasional stooping, and climbing. Traveling as required.
JOB SPECIFIC FUNCTIONS
Directs and supervises vocational services staff.

Identifies needs in program planning and facilitates overall production development.

Develops close working relationship with families, guardians, and service providers to ensure individuals needs are being met.

Develop close relationships with industries and/or businesses.

Adhere to local, state, and federal department of labor laws and regulations.

Consistently/Regularly assists and participates in the procurement of new contract work.

Assures ethical and competitive bidding on contracts.

Assists with overseeing and coordination of contracts.

Assures materials and supplies for program(s) are obtained.

Recruits and interviews individuals for approved program positions.

Attends in-service and incorporate information for improving program services.

Supervises daily operations of vocational program(s).Develops programs that are person centered.

Ensure the development, delivery, and evaluation of quality DDID Services.

Liaison with local support groups for DDID services.

Assist in development of community resources, facilities, and services.

Evaluate and assesses potential referrals for DDID services.

Assists in coordination of transportation as needed.

Uses terminology concerning individual that avoids negative labeling.

Perform average math and reading skills.

Identifies and requests maintenance repairs as needed.

Performs other duties as assigned.
MANDATORY REQUIREMENTS
1. Adheres to Communicare, Inc. policies and procedures. 2. Attends mandatory in-services and other training/educational programs as required.

Benefits:
Benefits become effective on the first of the month following 60 days of employment. Medical, Dental, Vision, Health Savings Account, Flexible Spending Plan, Life Insurance, Short- and Long-Term Disability, Critical Illness, Accident Insurance, and Hospital Indemnity Insurance. Full-time employees receive 12 days of vacation time and 12 days of sick time accrued throughout their first year of employment. Employees receive 10 holidays per year with two of those being floating holidays that can be used as they need them. We also provide up to four hours of employee appreciation hours per year and a pop-up store to select and item from. Employee Assistance Counseling services available to all employees with limited dependent benefits. Full-time employees are eligible for up to 10 total visits per calendar year; dependents are eligible for up to 6 visits. Half-time employees are eligible for up to 6 visits; dependents are eligible for 3 visits. PT and PRN employees are eligible for 3 visits; dependents are eligible for 3 visits.
