Become the Wound Program Coordinator/Employee Health you always wanted to be Functions as Wound Program Coordinator/Employee Health Nurse on designated shift. Administers annual PPD screening for all employees, students, and volunteers. Oversee and develop wound care and employee health services in adherence to regulatory standards and physician orders. Collaborate with clinical teams to provide guidance on wound care treatments. Lead educational efforts for hospital staff on wound care topics, as well as educating patient and family members on wounds and wound care. Maintain continuous education and stay updated on the latest wound care techniques and advancements. Direct the managerial functions of our Infection Control/Employee Health Program. Assure compliance with CMS, TJC, CDC, OSHA, and other federal and state standards and guidelines. Analyze hospital infection data to identify trends, clusters, risk factors and variances. Manage hospital policies consistent with applicable infection control guidelines and standards. Perform surveillance, analysis, and reporting of hospital-acquired infections. Assists in coordination of clinical rotations and student orientation packet completion. Trains staff in new hire orientation (departmental) and assists in general hospital orientation. Assists with projects and audits. Assists with staff training in QI certification and other required training. Coordinates preceptor program.
