To Be Determined Job Description Mentor Coordinators Two mentor coordinators to oversee mentors/mentees within the following grade distributions:

• Staff working with students in grades Prek
• grade 4
• Staff working with students in grades 5-12

NOTE:

ONLY INTERNAL CANDIDATES FROM NMRSD WILL BE CONSIDERED FOR THIS VACANCY.

Responsibilities for these positions include:

• Work collaboratively to oversee the Induction and Mentoring Program for staff new to the district
• Facilitation of two days in August for mentors and mentees (one day for mentoring training and new hire staff orientation)
• Lead a minimum of 10 sessions for mentees within the Mentoring program
• Work with the curriculum office to track the mentor's contracts, induction requirements, state mentoring requirements and submissions, and needs of the teachers in their first three years at NMRSD
• Completion of an assessment of the program through surveys or other data to inform decisions and changes needed for future programming needs
• Coordinate annual opportunity for eligible/interested staff members to be trained to serve as mentors The stipend for these positions is $1,500 each (per NMRSDTA Contract)
