Job Description

Seeking enthusiastic and energetic coaches to work with children ages 18 months to 7 years old in a variety of sports in our L'il Athletes program.
YOUTH PROGRAMS COACH PURPOSE AND SCOPE
The Youth Program Coach is a part time position and the purpose is to set up, deliver, and break down all program activities and games related to their specific sports child development program. The coach or instructor will lead small groups of children (18 months to 7 years old) through a series of games and activities that help promote a child's physical and social growth.
YOUTH PROGRAMS COACH RESPONSIBILITIES
Committing to a minimum of eight (8) week sessions, setting up, successfully delivering, and breaking down sport/child development games, interacting positively with parents and children, taking attendance, cleaning equipment, setting up the field, taking payments, entering data into sports IT program, collecting waivers, making phone calls to prospective customers, helping to distribute flyers, help with birthday parties, ensuring the kids and parents have a great customer experience.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORKING CONDITIONS
The NH Sportsplex Youth Program Coach requires the ability to work Saturday mornings help set up fields and sports equipment, (if applicable), computer work, and the ability to work 2- 6 hour shifts.

Background in specific sport associated with youth program

The NH Sportsplex is a set of indoor sports facilities, centrally located in Southern NH, that provides over 130,000 square feet of indoor playing surface, where elite athletes and recreational players alike can compete, practice, and train. We are a highly entrepreneurial business populated by individuals of high drive and integrity. We are passionate about the customers, programs, leagues, clinics, and sports we cater to and work hard each day to ensure we remain the Indoor Sports Facility of choice in the region. Although we have a number of sport partners, our dedicated full time staff size is relatively small, this environment lends itself to NH Sportsplex employee's "wearing many hats," it also provides our organization the ability to be nimble and our management staff the ability to possess a significant amount of autonomy throughout their positions within the organization. This in turn gives employees more than adequate opportunity for quick career growth and development within the company.
COMPENSATION
This position offers an hourly wage range of $8-$12 per hour and/or the ability to earn class credit.
