Job Description

The Overture Awards Program Coordinator serves as the primary administrator of the Cincinnati Arts Association's Overture Awards and related scholarship and recognition programs. Working in conjunction with the Vice President-Education & Community Engagement, this position is responsible for competition administration, adjudicator recruitment and management, participant relations, event operations, marketing support, stakeholder engagement, assessment, reporting, and strategic program development while ensuring the long-term sustainability and continuous improvement of the program.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Execute and administer competitions Recruitment and management of Adjudicators; Judge Coordinator, Judge Chairs, Regional Judges and Finals Judges Collaborate with the Marketing Department to market both the competition and the finals event, record and document comments from finalists for the organization's major fundraising event (Dancing for the Stars) Execute competition and events operations Act as the producer and manage the Finals Competition event Collaborate with the Development Department to plan and execute the Finalist reception Provide support for Dancing for the Stars" fundraising event Maintain stakeholder relations Steward alumni scholarship winners, sponsors, and funders Execute assessment and reporting of the Overture Awards Program Maintain documentation and institutional knowledge of the Overture Awards Program Qualifications To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Minimum of 1-3 years related experience; or equivalent combination of education, training and experience that provides the required knowledge, skill and abilities. Arts administration, education, nonprofit management, or related experience Strong project management skills Experience coordinating complex events Excellent written and verbal communication Ability to recruit and manage volunteers and adjudicators Ability to interact equitably with a range of styles and behaviors in a tactful manner Strong attention to detail Database and reporting proficiency Experience with survey development, focus groups, and program evaluation preferred Familiarity with arts education and youth programming required
