As a Youth Development Specialist, you'll help children build life-changing mentoring relationships with caring adult volunteers. Every day you'll work directly with families, mentors, schools, and community partners to support matches that help young people reach their full potential. What You'll Do Meet with children, families, and volunteers throughout the mentoring process. Interview and enroll new participants. Create successful mentor and child matches. Support mentoring relationships through regular coaching and check-ins. Build relationships with schools and community partners. Help recruit volunteers and support community events. Ensure every child receives a safe, positive mentoring experience. We're Looking For Someone Who Enjoys working with people and building relationships. Is organized and able to manage multiple priorities. Communicates professionally and compassionately. Works well independently. Is passionate about helping children succeed. Qualifications Required Bachelor's degree Strong communication and organizational skills Valid driver's license and reliable transportation Preferred Experience in education, social work, nonprofit organizations, counseling, youth development, case management, or a related field. Experience working with children, families, or volunteers. Experience with Salesforce or similar databases is a plus.
