About this Position The OSU Center for Family Research and Engagement in the Department of Human Development and Family Science at Oklahoma State University seeks a full-time Program Coordinator to administer several grant-funded research projects designed to enhance family functioning and to increase academic performance and reduce unhealthy behaviors among children and youth. The primary focus of the position is on building relationships with families, staff, and the community in English and Spanish, ensuring that all aspects of the programs are implemented according to established protocols, supervising staff, working with the data manager to collect data, and working creatively with the Principal Investigator to make program enhancements. Responsibilities and essential functions of the Program Coordinator position are to understand the basic science behind the major components of the projects to help guide decision making, problem solving, and program enhancements. Create and manage a program timelines including benchmarks and data collection for projects. Manage weekly staff meetings, supervise and train program staff and data collectors, develop and manage budgets, outreach and marketing tools, and community partnerships, as well as track key data points, coordinate data collection efforts, and develop reports. The Program Coordinator must also oversee the maintenance of project records including an inventory of supplies, assist in developing Internal Review Board protocols, grant applications, and manuscripts when needed and conduct quality control checks and compliance reviews. Able to travel across Tulsa to diverse sites for program activities (occasionally to Stillwater), and to attend at least one yearly conference outside of Oklahoma.
