B oys & Girls Aid is currently seeking a Program Coordinator for its Safe Place youth shelter to join our mission-driven team in Hillsboro . In this role, you'll have the rewarding role of providing operational and supervision oversight for the program and Youth Care Advocates.

A DAY IN THE LIFE OF THE PROGRAM COORDINATOR
As a Program Coordinator, you'll oversee the day-to-day operation of Shelter Services including: Entries and exits to ensure full bed usage, assess referrals, and maintain decision making authority regarding acceptance and discharge of clients. Operational and facility management, in accordance with all contractors, licensing, accreditation, and agency standards Managing household finances to be within shelter budget, including supply purchasing, invoice processing and necessary record keeping Planning of programming and recreational activities with opportunities that are culturally relevant and gender specific in compliance with Boys & Girls Aid policies and standards Supervising Youth Care Counselors includes: Recruitment, hiring, orientation and training, performance reviews and disciplinary actions. Implementation of daily routines and weekly recreation schedule. Development and implementation of the program's skill building components by selecting appropriate tools and curricula to be used by staff. Maintain accurate documentation, records, and files in accordance with both licensing and grant requirements that also meet quality assurance standards. Collaborate with Director of Shelter Services to resolve any programming-related health and safety issues.
Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree in a related field (social work, psychology, sociology) and two years' experience in the care of adolescent youth with one year increasing responsibility in leadership duties Valid driver's license from state of residence (Oregon or Washington), verification personal automobile liability insurance, and passing DMV driving record check.
