Job Description
Summary The Program Specialist is responsible for the operation and administration of the programs, services, and production activities relating to the employment of multi-handicapped and mentally challenged consumers of the WCBA. Duties and Responsibilities Assist the Program Manager Assuring that the agency complies with all waiver standards Along with Program Manager, responsible for Quality Management Assure ongoing compliance with HCSIS, PROMISE and SSD maintenance is correct Preparation of individual client plans Assist with arrival/dismissal of consumers Assist with consumer van runs as needed Complete Direct Care Staff duties to maintain ratio as needed Complete ACRE Certification (online course) Maintain a safe and harassment free work environment Maintain compliance with ISO standards and procedures Maintain and monitor the regulations set forth in the Home Health Care Services including Personal Assistant and Respite Services Maintain continuing education and training requirements - minimum of 24 hours per year All other duties as assigned by senior management Education/Experience Minimum of an Associates' degree in social work or related field with at least 4 years' experience working with physically/intellectually challenged individuals
