Job Description

Waynesburg University is seeking applicants for the position of Center for Politics, Law and Policy, Program Coordinator. This is a part-time, non-benefits eligible position. Associate degree or equivalent combination of education and relevant training and experience. Bachelor's degree in business administration, education, communications, event management, hospitality, or a related field preferred. Experience in administrative support, program coordination, event planning, student services, higher education, or a related area. Experience coordinating events, travel, purchasing, budgets, calendars, and communications preferred. Coordinates and administers the activities, programs, events, travel, communications, and operational needs associated with the Stover Scholar Program. Provides comprehensive administrative and programmatic support to ensure the effective planning and execution of activities, including academic, social, cultural, and professional development opportunities. Maintains program records, processes financial and purchasing transactions, coordinates schedules and logistics, communicates with students and university personnel, and oversees the program budget and related expenditures. Manages the Stover Center website and social media presence. Successful candidates must demonstrate a strong Christian faith, a commitment to the University's Mission and a demonstrated commitment to that faith, through his/her professional responsibilities, relationships and the mentoring of students.
