Instagram Full Job Description Duties and Responsibilities:
Attract and confirm new members and communicate with all MRC members and allies at key points to ensure satisfactory delivery of member/ally benefits. Communicate with lapsed members/allies to boost member retention and keep member records fresh. Curate, optimize, and monitor social media presence for both Michigan Recycling Coalition and Recycle, Michigan campaigns. Follow brand guidelines to create content to be published on Facebook, Tiktok, LinkedIn, and Instagram. Support conference and event planning, logistics, and delivery, including but not limited to promotion, outreach, registration, payments, and more. Support monitoring, updates, and maintenance of organizational website(s). Develop, coordinate, and maintain digital records, documents, and reports. Support development of the MRC, its mission, vision, goals, and objectives. Serve as the primary organizer of the Recycle Run boat shrink-wrap recycling program. Lead promotional efforts and work alongside program partners to coordinate pick-up routes and find end markets for material, while serving as the point of contact for program questions and concerns. Interact professionally with Board, members, contractors, staff, clients, vendors, and event attendees. Travel as needed to MRC events across the state of Michigan and out-of-state conferences on an annual or semiannual basis. Other duties as assigned by the Executive Director or Program Manager.Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Relationship building will be essential in this role with members, allies, and other supporters. Must be detail-oriented and skilled at self-managing, with good written and verbal communication and problem‐solving skills. Must be skilled in creating, modifying, and managing documents through Google Workspace and Canva, with the ability to learn other web-based applications. Highly organized and able to work alongside organizational partners to manage a logistics-driven recycling program. The ideal candidate will possess some knowledge, interest, and/or experience in the recycling and composting industry.Minimum Qualifications:
Administrative experience preferred. Knowledge of principles and practices of basic office management, organization, and social media management. Experience working within Google Workspace. Ability to work well independently and as part of a team.Pay:
$20.00 - $23.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per weekBenefits:
