Job Duties:
Receives, analyzes, and responds to requests for inmate information and confers with staff on program objectives and concerns; and assists in resolving problems and recommending solutions.

Provides support and collaborates in the planning, development, implementation, analysis, and documentation of an agency program.

Serves as a liaison to staff, governmental agencies, community organizations, and the public; prepares and manages the research and response to inquiries from inmate families, officials, and the public; and makes recommendations for improvement.

Performs a variety of marginal duties not listed, to be determined and assigned as needed.

Assists in planning, implementing, coordinating, monitoring, and evaluating program activities; assists in the development of program guidelines, policies, procedures, rules, and regulations; and monitors compliance with laws, regulations, and timeframes and agency and program policies, procedures, and rules for the assigned program.

Performs a variety of marginal duties not listed, to be determined and assigned as needed.

You'd be a GOOD fit if:

You have a bachelor's degree from a college or university accredited by an organization recognized by the Council for Higher Education Accreditation (CHEA) or by the United States Department of Education (USDE). Major course work in Business Administration, Criminal Justice, Public Administration, or a related field preferred.

You'd be a GREAT fit if:

You have knowledge of the principles and practices of public administration and management. You have knowledge of applicable state and federal laws, rules, regulations, and statutes. You have knowledge of agency and departmental organizational structure, policies, procedures, rules, and regulations preferred. You have the skill to communicate ideas and instructions clearly and concisely. You have the skill to coordinate with other staff, departments, officials, agencies, organizations, and the public. You have the skill to interpret and apply rules, regulations, policies, and procedures.
