Type:
full-time Interfaith Outreach Association seeks a part-time Program Specialist to work Monday through Friday from 8:00 am until 2:00 pm. The ideal candidate will exhibit high standards, excellent communication skills, and have an ability to multitask, take initiative, and prioritize daily tasks. A strong ability to take charge and meet tight deadlines will ensure your success in this multifaceted role. The applicant must be able to communicate effectively over phone, text, and email. This position assists with administrative tasks relating to many programs including but not limited to Interfaith Rebuilds, Furniture and Furnishings, and Emergency Assistance. This position is highly involved in the program delivery of the Furniture and Furnishings Program to ensure clients are able to access needed furniture as well as organizing client documentation for the Emergency Assistance Program. Responsibilities Assisting with volunteers and donations Ensure file organization based on office protocol Data entry into program databases and spreadsheets Assist with regular program reports Scheduling Furniture Program donation pickups and distributions Facilitate client furniture pick ups at offsite warehouse Completing client applications as needed Review documentation for Emergency Assistance applications Provide ad hoc support around office as needed Qualifications Strong interpersonal, customer service and communication skills Data Entry Detail Oriented Ability to multitask Proficient in Microsoft Office suite and Google equivalent Ability to learn new databases and systems as needed The position is open until filled. No phone calls, please. Must have reliable transportation.
