Job Description

Youth Program Coordinator (Seasonal Part-Time)20 hours/week through Nov. 14 | $26-$28/hour River City Youth is seeking a Youth Program Coordinator to support our Bike Bus and seasonal agriculture internship programs. This role is centered on building strong, meaningful relationships with youth, providing consistent mentorship, and supporting day-to-day program operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and support Bike Bus programming (spring and fall seasons) Assist with implementation of spring, summer, and fall youth agriculture internships Be actively present with youth during programming and serve as a positive mentor Support the Engagement Navigator in program coordination and daily operations Help ensure a safe, inclusive, and engaging environment for all participants
Qualifications:
Experience working with youth in out-of-school or community-based programs preferred Ability to work independently and as part of a small team Strong communication and relationship-building skills Commitment to creating a supportive and inclusive environment for youth Strong prioritization and time management skills Must be willing and able to work in all weather conditions There may be lifting of heavy things required
Schedule:
Approximately 20 hours per week, with flexibility based on program needs Some mornings, afternoons, and occasional evenings or weekend days may be required
Requirements:
Must pass a background check prior to working with youth
