The ideal candidate is proactive, highly organized, and possesses a strong understanding of construction industry standards and permit procedures. Duties Act as the main point of contact for submitting and tracking permits with local government agencies and utility providers. Prepare, review, and verify all permit documentation, plans, and supporting materials using construction management software such as ProCore, Bluebeam, or similar tools. Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and contractors to gather required information for permit applications. Monitor permit approval timelines and follow up regularly to ensure timely issuance. Maintain accurate records of all permit submissions, approvals, renewals, and related correspondence. Assist in reviewing construction plans for compliance with local codes and regulations. Support project scheduling efforts by integrating permit timelines into overall project management schedules using Primavera P6 or other scheduling software. Collaborate with civil engineering teams to review construction plans and ensure alignment with permitting requirements. Manage communication between permitting authorities, contractors, and internal teams to resolve any issues that may arise during the permitting process. Ensure adherence to all safety standards and regulatory requirements throughout the permitting process. Experience Proven experience in construction project coordination or permit management within the solar or renewable energy industry required Strong familiarity with SolarAPP Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel data analysis skills essential) Excellent analysis skills combined with effective time management to handle multiple permits simultaneously while meeting deadlines. Solid understanding of construction plans, contracts, and regulatory compliance standards relevant to solar projects. Strong organizational skills with an ability to coordinate multiple stakeholders efficiently across various phases of project planning and execution.
