$125,000-$160,000 base + target bonus Brooksource is partnering with a construction client to identify a Project Manager with healthcare construction experience , ideally including OSHPD project exposure , to support complex commercial construction work in the Stockton market. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys owning projects from planning through closeout, working closely with field leadership, and managing client relationships in highly regulated construction environments.

The Project Manager will help drive successful project delivery while maintaining a strong focus on safety, quality, client satisfaction, and financial performance. The ideal candidate brings experience managing commercial healthcare construction projects , understands the pace and complexity of regulated environments, and is comfortable partnering closely with a Superintendent to keep projects moving effectively. Responsibilities Manage construction projects from preconstruction through closeout Assist with project estimating, budgeting, and project planning Lead project management plan development and support pre-award/pre-construction activities Build and maintain project schedules and key milestones in partnership with field leadership Support subcontract negotiation, procurement, permitting, and regulatory coordination Oversee project performance related to cost, schedule, quality, and safety Manage materials and equipment procurement in alignment with project budgets and timelines Negotiate and manage owner and subcontractor change orders Prepare monthly client pay applications and support follow-up on collections Coordinate job cost reviews, payment approvals, lien releases, and project accounting processes Lead final project closeout activities, including documentation and turnover Maintain strong client communication throughout the life of the project Partner cross-functionally with internal teams to support successful project delivery Skills & Experience Experience managing healthcare construction projects OSHPD experience strongly preferred / highly valued At least 5+ years of experience in commercial construction Ability to manage multiple aspects of a project including schedule, cost, contracts, and client communication Strong understanding of estimating concepts, change orders, and market pricing Familiarity with construction contracts, construction law concepts, and risk awareness Ability to interpret plans, blueprints, specifications, and applicable code/design requirements Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively across teams Comfortable working in a leadership role while coordinating closely with Superintendents and other project stakeholders Education Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field preferred Equivalent experience will also be considered What Stands Out Opportunity to work on complex healthcare construction projects Strong visibility with client stakeholders High-impact role with ownership across the project lifecycle Competitive base salary plus bonus opportunity
