Team members work closely with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure projects are completed safely, on time, and within budget. Role Description The Project Manager is a full-time, on-site role located in Sacramento, CA. This position is responsible for estimating, planning, coordinating, and overseeing construction projects from initiation through completion, including scheduling, budgeting, resource allocation, and risk management. Day-to-day tasks include managing project timelines, directing field teams, coordinating with expeditors, subcontractors, and vendors, and ensuring materials and equipment are delivered and installed as planned. The Project Manager conducts site inspections, monitors quality and safety compliance, resolves issues and change orders, and provides regular progress updates to stakeholders. The role also involves maintaining accurate documentation, supporting logistics activities, and driving continuous improvement in project delivery. Qualifications Strong project management skills, including planning, scheduling, estimating, and stakeholder coordination. Experience with expeditor and expediting functions to ensure timely procurement and delivery of materials and services. Proficiency in inspection processes to verify quality, safety, and compliance with project specifications and codes. Logistics management skills to oversee material flow, equipment availability, and site readiness. Prior experience in construction project management or a related field; commercial or industrial construction experience preferred. Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, contracts, and technical documentation. Strong communication, negotiation, and problem-solving abilities, with a collaborative approach to working with diverse teams. Proficiency with project management and construction software tools (e.g., scheduling, document control, and collaboration platforms). Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related discipline, or equivalent relevant experience is a plus. Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices; OSHA training or certification is a plus.
