About the Opportunity A leading heavy civil contractor in the Northeast is seeking an experienced Project Manager to support large-scale bridge and transportation infrastructure projects throughout Connecticut. This role will focus on complex bridge construction projects valued at $100M+, working alongside experienced field leadership and executive teams to deliver critical infrastructure improvements. Responsibilities Manage all phases of large-scale bridge and heavy civil construction projects Oversee project budgets, schedules, and cost controls to ensure successful delivery Coordinate closely with DOT agencies, owners, engineers, and subcontractors Support procurement, subcontractor management, and contract administration Monitor project financial performance including forecasting, change orders, and reporting Work closely with field leadership to ensure safe and efficient project execution Lead project meetings and maintain clear communication with stakeholders Ensure compliance with all DOT regulations, safety standards, and project specifications Qualifications 7+ years of experience in heavy civil construction Proven experience managing bridge, highway, or large transportation infrastructure projects Experience working with DOT projects (CDOT or similar agencies strongly preferred) Strong understanding of project management, scheduling, and cost control Experience with projects valued $50M+ strongly preferred Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and complex project scopes Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field preferred Compensation & Benefits Base salary up to $170,000 depending on experience Performance-based bonus Comprehensive health, dental, and vision insurance 401(k) with company contribution Vehicle or vehicle allowance Paid time off and holidays Long-term career growth working on landmark infrastructure projects Why This Role Opportunity to work on $100M+ bridge and transportation projects Join a team known for delivering complex heavy civil infrastructure Strong pipeline of work across the region Clear path for career advancement into senior leadership
Pay:
$140,000.00 - $170,000.00 per year
