Project Manager - New Ground-Up Multifamily Construction (Weston & New Haven, CT) A well-established, national real estate construction firm with a 30+ year track record of delivering high-quality residential and mixed-use developments is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead new ground-up multifamily construction in Weston and New Haven, Connecticut. The Projects Weston, CT:
A new-construction, market-rate residential development within an established mixed-use retail campus. The project will deliver 170 apartment units across two four-story, wood-framed buildings, with a robust amenity package including rooftop spaces, a landscaped courtyard with pool, integrated ground-floor retail, and structured on-site parking.
New Haven, CT:
A ground-up, mixed-income, mixed-use residential redevelopment delivered in two phases. Phase one includes wood-over-podium construction with a 75-space cast-in-place parking garage. Responsibilities Oversee day-to-day management of ground-up multifamily construction projects from preconstruction through closeout Manage project budgets, schedules, subcontractor buyout, and overall project financials Serve as the primary point of contact for owners, architects, engineers, and subcontractors Lead project meetings, coordinate with field superintendents, and ensure quality control and safety compliance Review and negotiate subcontracts, change orders, and RFIs Track project milestones and proactively identify and resolve issues that could impact schedule or budget Mentor and support project engineers and assistant project managers Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience) Minimum 5-8+ years of construction project management experience Multifamily and/or high-rise construction experience required Strong working knowledge of scheduling, budgeting, and construction management software (e.g., Procore, MS Project) Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills Ability to work on-site across the Weston and New Haven, CT market Compensation & Benefits Base salary up to $160,000, commensurate with experience Performance-based annual bonus Comprehensive benefits package (medical, dental, vision, 401(k), PTO) Additional Details Employer identity is confidential at this stage of the search Local candidates or those willing to relocate to Connecticut are encouraged to apply This is a confidential search.
