This role will serve as a key liaison between field supervisors, crews, vendors, suppliers, and the office to help keep projects organized, scheduled, and properly supplied. The ideal candidate has construction experience, is bilingual in English and Spanish, has strong computer skills, and can help coordinate crews, materials, schedules, and project updates in a fast-paced field environment. Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate daily project needs for seawall, marine construction, and waterfront construction projects
- Serve as the main point of communication between field supervisors, crews, vendors, suppliers, and office staff
- Update and maintain crew schedules based on project timelines, field updates, and supervisor direction
- Communicate schedule changes, material needs, project updates, and jobsite issues to the appropriate team members
- Ensure upcoming seawall projects have required materials ordered and delivered before crew arrival
- Order construction materials such as concrete, rebar, lumber, hardware, equipment, and other job-related supplies as needed
- Follow up with vendors and suppliers to confirm material availability, delivery dates, and jobsite delivery status
- Communicate with field supervisors regarding crew progress, material needs, jobsite conditions, and schedule changes
- Notify the office when project milestones are reached and invoicing needs to be sent
- Track job status and provide regular updates to management and office staff
- Maintain accurate project notes, schedules, material orders, delivery updates, and job-related documentation
- Assist with coordinating multiple projects, crews, vendors, and daily field needs
- Support administrative and operational tasks as needed Required Qualifications
- Previous construction experience required
- Bilingual English/Spanish required
- Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and general office systems
- Strong communication and follow-up skills
- Comfortable working as a liaison between field supervisors, crews, vendors, and office staff
- Ability to update schedules and track multiple active projects at one time
- Ability to order materials and follow up with suppliers or vendors
- Strong organization and attention to detail
- Ability to work in a fast-paced construction environment and adjust to changing priorities
- Reliable, proactive, and able to follow through without constant supervision Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in seawall, marine construction, waterfront construction, concrete, civil, site work, or general construction
- Experience coordinating field crews or construction schedules
- Experience ordering construction materials
- Experience working with suppliers, vendors, subcontractors, or field supervisors
- Familiarity with job costing, project tracking, or construction invoicing is a plus
