Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Architectural Project Manager to manage architectural projects from conceptual design through permitting and construction documentation. The ideal candidate will have at least five years of project management experience within an architectural firm and strong experience preparing complete permit sets and construction document sets. Responsibilities Develop projects from conceptual design, under the direction of the Principal Architect, through design development and construction documentation Prepare accurate permit sets and construction document sets Coordinate architectural drawings with structural, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, civil, and other consultants Manage and coordinate multidisciplinary teams of design professionals and engineers Review consultant drawings for accuracy and consistency Submit permit documents and respond to comments from municipal plan review departments Track project schedules, deliverables, revisions, and approvals Maintain clear communication with the Principal Architect, consultants, clients, and permitting departments Ensure drawings comply with project requirements, applicable codes, and design standards Required Qualifications Minimum five years of architectural project management experience Experience working within an architectural firm Strong experience preparing permit and construction document sets Advanced proficiency in AutoCAD Ability to independently manage multiple projects and coordinate multidisciplinary teams Strong understanding of design development, documentation, permitting, and consultant coordination Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills Strong attention to detail Preferred Qualifications Degree in Architecture or a related field Architectural license in the United States or another country Candidates currently completing AXP, formerly IDP, experience hours toward architectural licensure are encouraged to apply Proficiency in Revit Knowledge of municipal permitting and plan review processes 3D modeling and rendering capabilities
