Position Summary The Project Manager is responsible for managing residential and commercial projects involving tile and flooring, kitchens, cabinetry, doors, millwork, and related interior finishes from initial planning through final installation and closeout. The Project Manager will coordinate clients, designers, vendors, installers, subcontractors, and internal teams to ensure each project is completed on time, within budget, according to approved plans, and to ITALPIU's quality standards . This position requires strong construction knowledge, organization, attention to detail, client communication, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Key ResponsibilitiesProject Management & Coordination Manage projects from initial handoff through installation, punch list, and final completion. Develop and maintain project schedules, installation dates, milestones, and deadlines. Coordinate daily activities with installers, subcontractors, vendors, designers, clients, and other trades. Conduct regular job-site visits and walkthroughs to monitor progress and quality. Maintain accurate project documentation, schedules, reports, and correspondence. Identify potential delays or problems and develop solutions before they impact the project. Provide regular project updates to management and clients. Coordinate deliveries and verify that materials arrive according to the project schedule. Manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining organization and attention to detail. Tile & Flooring Coordinate tile and flooring installation from material delivery through completion. Review tile layouts, patterns, elevations, transitions, grout requirements, and installation details. Verify site measurements and field conditions before installation. Coordinate substrate preparation and installation readiness. Monitor workmanship, alignment, leveling, cuts, transitions, finishes, and overall quality. Identify damaged, missing, or incorrect materials and coordinate replacements. Kitchens & Cabinetry Review kitchen plans, shop drawings, elevations, specifications, measurements, and approved selections. Coordinate cabinetry, countertops, hardware, appliances, plumbing fixtures, and related installation requirements. Verify field dimensions and site readiness before cabinetry installation. Coordinate with plumbing, electrical, countertop, appliance, and other trades. Monitor cabinet installation for proper alignment, leveling, hardware operation, finishes, and overall quality. Manage installation deficiencies, adjustments, replacements, and punch-list items. Doors & Interior Finishes Coordinate the delivery and installation of interior and specialty doors. Verify door dimensions, openings, hardware, finishes, and installation requirements. Coordinate door frames, hinges, handles, locks, and related hardware. Inspect installations for proper alignment, operation, finish, and quality. Coordinate corrections or replacement of damaged or incorrectly installed materials. Quality Control & Closeout Conduct quality-control inspections throughout each phase of the project. Ensure work complies with approved plans, specifications, manufacturer requirements, and company quality standards. Create, manage, and follow up on punch lists. Document deficiencies with photos and written reports when necessary. Coordinate corrective work with installers, vendors, and subcontractors. Conduct final walkthroughs and ensure outstanding items are resolved before project closeout. Maintain a professional and clean presentation of the project, especially during client walkthroughs. Client & Vendor Relations Serve as a primary point of contact for assigned projects. Maintain professional and proactive communication with clients. Manage client expectations regarding schedules, installations, changes, and project progress. Coordinate with manufacturers and vendors regarding orders, deliveries, damaged materials, replacements, and warranty issues. Maintain positive working relationships with subcontractors and installation teams. Qualifications 3-5+ years of Project Management experience in construction, interior finishes, kitchens, cabinetry, flooring, tile, doors, or a related industry preferred. Strong understanding of construction sequencing and installation processes. Experience managing subcontractors, installers, vendors, and multiple trades. Ability to read and interpret architectural plans, shop drawings, elevations, specifications, and installation drawings. Strong understanding of field measurements and site conditions. Excellent organizational and time-management skills. Strong attention to detail and quality control. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to manage multiple projects and changing priorities. Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities. Proficiency with Microsoft Office; experience with construction/project-management software is preferred. Valid driver's license and ability to travel to project sites as required. Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus. The Project Manager must be comfortable walking job sites, climbing stairs, inspecting installations, taking field measurements, and working around active construction operations. Performance Expectations Success in this position will be measured by on-time project completion, installation quality, client satisfaction, accurate project documentation, effective coordination of trades and vendors, timely resolution of deficiencies, and successful project closeout .Pay:
