Job Title:

Project Manager Construction Job Description This role oversees multiple construction projects from award through completion, ensuring they are delivered safely, on schedule, within budget, and in line with client expectations. The Project Manager leads all aspects of project execution, including budgeting, scheduling, subcontractor coordination, client communication, and safety initiatives, while maintaining strong project controls and documentation. Responsibilities Manage one or multiple construction projects simultaneously from award through closeout. Develop clear project objectives, detailed schedules, and comprehensive execution plans. Monitor project financial performance and maintain accountability for budgets and cost controls. Track project costs and prepare monthly forecasting and cost-to-complete reports. Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, vendors, and field personnel to ensure aligned project execution. Review project drawings, submittals, RFIs, and contract documentation for accuracy and compliance. Administer change orders and maintain robust project controls and documentation. Lead regular project meetings and communicate effectively with clients, architects, engineers, and stakeholders. Ensure adherence to company safety standards and environmental, health, and safety (EHS) requirements. Conduct site visits to monitor progress, identify risks, and resolve project issues in a timely manner. Oversee field operations and coordinate activities between office and site teams. Support business development efforts through proposal review, client interactions, and relationship management. Oversee project closeout activities, including punch list completion, warranties, and turnover documentation. Contribute to estimating, procurement, and project forecasting activities as needed. Maintain strong client relationships and represent the organization professionally at all times. Essential Skills 5+ years of construction industry experience. Previous experience managing commercial, civil, mechanical, or industrial construction projects. Demonstrated experience overseeing project budgets, forecasting, and cost-to-complete reporting. Proven ability to manage subcontractors, vendors, suppliers, and client relationships. Experience handling RFIs, submittals, change orders, project schedules, and project documentation. Strong understanding of construction plans, specifications, and contract administration. Proficiency with Microsoft Project and Microsoft Excel. Experience using construction management software. Experience conducting site visits and coordinating field operations. Strong estimating, procurement, and project forecasting experience. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills. Strong leadership and organizational abilities. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced construction environment. Additional Skills & Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Mechanical Engineering, or Civil Engineering preferred. Licensing as a Professional Engineer (PE), General Contractor, Mechanical Contractor, or PSSC preferred. OSHA 30 certification. OSHA Trainer certification preferred.

The position requires approximately 25%50% travel to project sites, depending on project demands and locations. The schedule is driven by project timelines and operational requirements, which may require flexibility to meet critical milestones. Personal protective equipment (PPE), including steel-toed boots, eye protection, and hearing protection, is required on job sites to ensure safety in active construction environments. Job Type & Location This is a Permanent position based out of Medley, FL. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $65.00 - $65.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
