$120,000 - $165,000 per year Job Details - We are seeking a Senior Environmental Project Manager / Senior Environmental Professional with extensive experience supporting federal environmental programs and projects. This individual will lead environmental planning, compliance, permitting, and due-diligence activities for an upcoming federal project in the Fort Benning, GA area. The Senior Environmental Project Manager will serve as the primary environmental point of contact and coordinate environmental matters with federal stakeholders, project leadership, consultants, and other project participants.
Responsibilities include:
Lead environmental planning, compliance, permitting, and due-diligence activities Perform and/or oversee Phase I and Phase II Environmental Site Assessments Ensure Phase I ESA work complies with applicable ASTM E1527-21, CERCLA, and All Appropriate Inquiries (AAI) requirements Support environmental due diligence associated with site acquisition and development Lead and coordinate NEPA environmental reviews and documentation Support successful completion and approval of CATEX, Environmental Assessments (EA), and Environmental Impact Statements (EIS) Manage applicable NHPA investigations and compliance requirements Coordinate directly with federal representatives regarding environmental matters Identify environmental risks and develop strategies to maintain project compliance and schedule Manage environmental consultants, documentation, agency coordination, and project deliverables as necessary
Qualifications:
10+ years of professional environmental experience, including federal environmental compliance, planning, and due-diligence projects Demonstrated experience supporting federal projects and/or federal installations Strong hands-on knowledge of NEPA and NHPA Successful experience completing Phase I and Phase II ESAs Experience with CERCLA, AAI, and ASTM environmental due-diligence standards Demonstrated experience obtaining or supporting NEPA CATEX, EA, and/or EIS approvals Experience coordinating environmental requirements with federal agencies Prior DoD, U.S. Army, USACE, or other military-installation experience strongly preferred Master's degree in Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, or a closely related field required Strong written and verbal communication skills A bit about us: - We are an established federal contractor supporting complex construction, engineering, and infrastructure projects throughout the United States.
