John Sr, former owner, and CEO/President of Masterbuilt, spent his life running the family business with the Ole Man and his siblings. From the age of 15, John II began working his way from the warehouse to departments like customer service, product development and marketing for the company with his dream of working with his dad just like John Sr did with the Ole Man. Their love of food came from cooking in their backyard with the Ole Man and in the kitchen with MeMaw, family and friends, camping trips and testing the latest invention for the family business. Today, they travel the country as masters of everything grilling and smoking sharing some of their favorite recipes, most memorable stories, and life lessons with all of you. From national TV, radio, podcasts, and social media; to NASCAR races, Super Bowl's or charitable events, they love meeting new friends, learning new recipes and sharing their expertise with you. Job Summary
  • The Project Coordinator will play a key leadership support role within The McLemore Boys organization by overseeing administrative operations, project management, scheduling, event coordination and internal systems organization for the CEO and VP of the company.
  • This individual will help keep the company running smoothly behind the scenes by managing timelines, organizing communication, coordinating projects across departments, building and maintaining workflows in ClickUp and other company systems, and ensuring day-to-day operations are executed efficiently.
  • The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, proactive, solution-driven, and thrives in a fast-paced entrepreneurial environment involving media, events, partnerships, travel, content creation and brand activations.

Be curious, ask questions, show creativity and be a good team player. Manage calendars, scheduling, travel logistics and administrative support for the CEO and VP. Coordinate and oversee company projects from planning to execution. Create, manage and organize workflows, tasks, automations and project timelines inside ClickUp and other company systems. Assist in planning and coordinating events, activations, podcasts, NASCAR race weekends, brand partnerships and company appearances. Maintain organization of documents, contracts, proposals, presentations and internal company files. Serve as a communication bridge between leadership, vendors, partners, contractors and team members. Track deadlines, deliverables and project progress while ensuring accountability across the team. Help implement systems and processes that improve efficiency and organization throughout the company. Assist with email management, meeting coordination and follow-up communication. Coordinate team meetings, agendas and project updates. Help oversee operational logistics for social media campaigns, content production and marketing initiatives. Maintain confidentiality and professionalism while handling sensitive business information. Support business growth initiatives and assist leadership wherever needed. Operate with integrity, professionalism and a positive attitude.

  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience with project management software such as ClickUp, Monday.com, Asana or similar platforms.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities.
  • Proficient in Google Workspace, Microsoft Office and digital collaboration tools.
  • Experience in event planning, operations or executive assistance is preferred.
  • Experience in media, marketing, entertainment, hospitality or brand partnerships is a plus.
  • Willingness to travel occasionally for events and activations.
