John Sr, former owner, and CEO/President of Masterbuilt, spent his life running the family business with the Ole Man and his siblings. From the age of 15, John II began working his way from the warehouse to departments like customer service, product development and marketing for the company with his dream of working with his dad just like John Sr did with the Ole Man. Their love of food came from cooking in their backyard with the Ole Man and in the kitchen with MeMaw, family and friends, camping trips and testing the latest invention for the family business. Today, they travel the country as masters of everything grilling and smoking sharing some of their favorite recipes, most memorable stories, and life lessons with all of you. From national TV, radio, podcasts, and social media; to NASCAR races, Super Bowl's or charitable events, they love meeting new friends, learning new recipes and sharing their expertise with you. Job Summary

• The Podcast Videographer & Editor is a hands-on creative role focused on capturing, editing, and delivering high-quality video content for The McLemore Boys, "What's Cookin'" Podcast and related digital platforms.
• This role is execution-focused, while working with the internal team on strategy with the opportunity to grow. You will be responsible for filming podcast episodes, events, and behind-the-scenes moments, then editing long-form episodes and short-form clips for YouTube, social media, and promotional use.
• The ideal candidate is a visual storyteller who is comfortable behind the camera, confident in the edit bay, and excited to travel, shoot, and create content that feels authentic, energetic, and on-brand.

Opportunities for growth and in-field growth Video Production (Primary Focus) Film podcast episodes (studio, on-location, live events) Capture b-roll, behind-the-scenes, and lifestyle footage Operate DSLR/mirrorless cameras, tripods, audio mixer, live switcher, and lighting Frame shots for both long-form podcast content and short-form vertical clips Assist with camera setup, breakdown, and on-site troubleshooting Video Editing & Post-Production Edit full-length podcast episodes for YouTube and video platforms Create short-form clips for Instagram Reels, TikTok, YouTube Shorts, Facebook, and X Add basic graphics, lower thirds, captions, music, and branding elements Color correct, audio balance, and polish footage to brand standards Export and format content for multiple platforms Content Support & Organization Organize and manage video files, drives, and project folders Label and archive footage for future use Maintain consistency in visual style and pacing Collaborate with the team to meet publishing deadlines On-Set & Event Support Be on-site for podcast recordings, brand activations, and events Travel with the team to capture content across the country Capture spontaneous, real moments that fit the McLemore Boys storytelling style Assist with live or fast-turnaround content when needed Will be on site for all podcast episode shoots - travel required All other duties as assigned. Job Requirements and Qualifications 1-3+ years' experience in videography and video editing Strong editing skills in Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or similar Experience shooting with DSLR/mirrorless cameras Understanding of framing for podcasts, interviews, and social media Comfortable shooting both horizontal and vertical content Basic understanding of audio capture and syncing Creative eye for storytelling, pacing, and emotion Highly organized with media files and workflows Passion for content, storytelling, and hands-on creation Willingness to travel and work flexible hours around recordings, events, and live activations. Relevant certifications in podcasting, digital marketing, or social media are a plus.
