We are seeking a Senior BIM Coordinator to join our Schaumburg, IL team. This is a key technical role for someone who thrives in a collaborative, fast-paced environment and is passionate about advancing BIM execution and coordination across complex projects. What You'll Be Doing Lead the development, coordination, and maintenance of Building Information Models (BIM) for ductwork and piping systems using Revit, AutoCAD, and related BIM tools . Serve as a key technical resource for BIM standards, model accuracy, and coordination across multiple disciplines. Coordinate design intent with internal teams and external partners to ensure fully integrated project execution. Participate in project coordination meetings to review model progress, identify clashes, and support resolution strategies. Maintain and update BIM models throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring all design changes are accurately reflected. Support project schedules by ensuring timely delivery of coordinated models and documentation. Conduct occasional site visits to verify field conditions and support as-built validation alongside senior project staff. Communicate model updates, coordination issues, and deliverables clearly to project teams and leadership. What We're Looking For Strong proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, and BIM coordination tools . Proven experience working with duct and pipe systems in MEP environments . Strong understanding of construction documentation, coordination workflows, and BIM standards. Ability to independently manage complex model coordination tasks across multiple stakeholders. Strong communication skills with the ability to clearly convey technical information. A proactive, detail-oriented mindset with the ability to drive solutions in a collaborative environment.
