Job Description

INNOVATION COORDINATOR
(BIM/VDC) Reports to:
Chief Innovation Officer FSLA:
Exempt Objective:
The Innovation Coordinator (BIM/VDC) supports project teams by applying Building Information Modeling (BIM), Virtual Design & Construction (VDC), Reality Capture, and emerging construction technologies throughout all phases of project delivery. This role collaborates with project teams, trade partners, and design professionals to improve coordination, visualization, constructability, and digital project delivery while supporting Windover's Innovation Group initiatives.
Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain BIM models throughout project lifecycle. Assist with BIM coordination and clash detection. Participate in trade coordination meetings. Support project teams with model-based coordination and constructability reviews. Develop renderings, animations, walkthroughs, and visual presentations. Assist with construction sequencing and logistics modeling. Support model-based quantity takeoffs and earthwork analysis from BIM data. Coordinate with architects, engineers, consultants, and trade partners. Assist with field layout support and model-based construction workflows. Perform onsite scanning and reality capture documentation. Update as-built models and digital project documentation. Support Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC) project workflows. Assist with Digital Twin implementation and asset data collection. Maintain BIM standards and project documentation. Support additional Innovation Group initiatives as assigned.
Skills:
High proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD. Knowledge of BIM and VDC concepts. Strong communication and collaboration skills. Excellent attention to detail. Strong organizational and time management skills. Ability to learn new software quickly. Self-motivated with a positive attitude. Demonstrates a strong work ethic and high level of professionalism. The ability to work autonomously and also within a team framework. Willingness to take direction, ask questions, and follow outlined protocol and procedures. Strong time management skills to ensure deadlines are met. Adept at appropriate and timely follow up. Strong analytical and creative problem-solving skills Ability to operate in a very fast-paced, professional business environment.
Personal Attributes:
Enthusiastic, personally motivated, and hardworking. Extremely well organized. Able to prioritize and manage resources. Task-oriented administrator who will do the necessary documentation.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or another related AEC field. 0-4 years of experience in BIM, VDC, architecture, engineering, or construction.
For recent graduates:
internship, co-op, or other relevant industry experience is preferred.
