Field Project Coordinator Steady Eddie - Personal Property Restoration About the Role Steady Eddie is a leader in personal property restoration, specializing in fire, water, and mold damage. We are looking for a motivated, dependable Field Project Coordinator to join our production team. This is not a traditional office-based coordinator position . This role is approximately 50% field and 50% office , and you will be responsible for helping manage restoration projects from start to finish. You will regularly travel to homes and businesses affected by fire, water, mold, and other property damage. Some job sites may be dirty, wet, smoky, dusty, damaged, or otherwise challenging environments . You must be comfortable walking into these conditions, assessing what needs to be done, working with customers and crews, and helping ensure the project is completed correctly. The right person is organized and professional in the office but is equally comfortable putting on work clothes and heading to a job site when the situation requires it. What You'll DoIn the Field — Approximately 50% Travel frequently to active restoration job sites throughout the service area. Assess property damage and document project conditions. Meet with homeowners, business owners, insurance representatives, and other project stakeholders. Take before, during, and after photos and maintain accurate project documentation. Inspect job progress and verify that work is being completed properly and on schedule. Coordinate with restoration crews at job sites. Communicate project expectations and updates to field teams and office staff. Identify problems in the field and help develop solutions quickly. Maintain a professional presence while working in homes and businesses experiencing property damage. Work in environments that may contain water damage, fire and smoke damage, mold, debris, odors, damaged materials, and other unpleasant conditions. In the Office — Approximately 50% Prepare damage assessments, reports, and information needed for project estimates. Schedule and coordinate project teams and resources. Manage project timelines, budgets, and documentation. Communicate regularly with customers regarding project status and expectations. Keep project files, photos, notes, and other documentation accurate and up to date. Coordinate with office staff, production teams, and department leadership. Help resolve scheduling, customer, staffing, and project-related issues. Support facility operations when department leads are unavailable. What We're Looking For We are looking for someone who can take ownership, communicate effectively, stay organized, and handle changing priorities.
Preferred qualifications:
Experience in management, supervision, project coordination, construction, restoration, property services, or a related field. Strong communication and customer-service skills. Excellent organization and time-management abilities. Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills. Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities at the same time. Comfortable working independently and making decisions in the field. Comfortable working around damaged properties and in dirty or challenging job-site conditions. Bilingual in Spanish is a plus. Restoration experience is helpful but not required . This Role Is a Good Fit If You... Don't want to sit behind a desk all day. Enjoy a combination of field work and office responsibilities. Schedule & Travel Schedule:
Full-time, Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-4:30 PM This position requires frequent travel to job sites and a willingness to travel as needed throughout the service area. Rotational emergency on-call shifts and overtime can occur.
Travel requirement:
100% Driver's license required. A company vehicle will be provided after 3 months.
