This is a hybrid project management, technical leadership, and field coordination role. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with security systems, low-voltage wiring, networking, troubleshooting, project scheduling, client communication, and field team coordination. This is not a security guard position. This is a technical security systems and low-voltage integration role. Responsibilities Manage security, access control, CCTV, burglar alarm, networking, and low-voltage projects from start to finish. Coordinate project schedules, labor, equipment readiness, site requirements, client communication, and closeout items. Lead and support installation teams during programming, testing, troubleshooting, commissioning, and final closeout. Review drawings, floor plans, scopes of work, wiring diagrams, schematics, submittals, and change orders. Conduct site walks to assess field conditions, device locations, wiring paths, equipment locations, and installation needs. Coordinate with clients, general contractors, vendors, subcontractors, IT teams, and internal departments. Troubleshoot technical issues related to security system hardware, networking, cabling, CCTV, access control, and alarm equipment. Track project progress, punch list items, open issues, documentation, and handover requirements. Ensure all work is completed according to company standards, manufacturer specifications, applicable codes, and client expectations. Provide client training and system hand-off at project completion. Qualifications Experience with security systems, access control, CCTV, burglar alarms, networking, structured cabling, or low-voltage integration required. Prior experience leading technicians, coordinating installations, or managing low-voltage/security projects preferred. Ability to read floor plans, CAD drawings, schematics, wiring diagrams, scopes of work, and technical documentation. Strong troubleshooting skills with security systems, access control, CCTV, networks, and related equipment. Strong communication, organization, leadership, time management, and problem-solving skills. Ability to manage multiple projects, deadlines, priorities, and jobsite requirements. Preferred Experience Experience with Honeywell, DSC, Alarm.com, Brivo, PDK, Verkada, Axis, Hanwha, Avigilon, Genetec, LenelS2, or similar systems. Experience with D-Tools, AutoCAD, Microsoft Office, or project management software. OSHA certification, security licensing, manufacturer certifications, or project management training are a plus. Requirements Valid driver's license required. Ability to travel to job sites throughout New Jersey, New York City, Westchester, Long Island, and the surrounding Tri-State area. Ability to use hand tools, power tools, ladders, and testing equipment safely. Ability to lift and carry equipment and materials as needed. Must be dependable, professional, organized, and detail-oriented.
