Job Description
Project Coordinator Shibley Properties — Chagrin Falls, Ohio Shibley Properties is seeking an organized and dependable Project Coordinator to help manage projects and assist with day-to-day operations for a commercial real estate company and law practice. This is a broad, hands-on role for someone who is comfortable coordinating multiple matters, communicating with different parties, tracking deadlines, and making sure work gets completed. We are looking for someone who takes initiative, follows through, communicates professionally, and enjoys bringing structure to a busy work environment. Responsibilities Coordinating property repairs, improvements, and other projects Communicating with contractors, vendors, tenants, attorneys, and brokers Requesting proposals and helping compare project costs and options Scheduling work and tracking projects from start to completion Following up on outstanding tasks, documents, and deadlines Maintaining organized project, property, legal, and business files Assisting with leases, contracts, insurance claims, and real estate matters Helping coordinate real estate transactions and closings Preparing and organizing correspondence, reports, and other documents Providing general administrative and operational support Helping keep day-to-day matters organized and moving forward Ideal Background Experience in one or more of the following areas is helpful: Project coordination Commercial real estate Property management Construction or vendor coordination Legal or professional office administration Real estate transactions or closings Executive or administrative support Commercial real estate, property management, construction, or paralegal experience is preferred, but it is not required. We are open to someone with strong transferable experience who is organized, intelligent, dependable, and willing to learn.
