Heart of the Home Cabinets is a growing, family-owned design and remodeling company seeking an organized, motivated professional to join our team. We specialize in custom and semi-custom cabinetry, countertops, flooring, tile, lighting, closets, and complete bathroom renovations

• including custom walk-in showers.

We guide clients from the initial concept and design through product selection, project coordination, and final installation. This unique, client-facing role blends creative design, relationship-building, sales, and project management. You will design kitchens, bathrooms, closets, showers, and other custom spaces while guiding clients and coordinating the many details that bring each project to life. Success in this position comes from equal parts creativity, organization, sales ability, and follow-through. What You'll Do

• Design beautiful, functional kitchens, bathrooms, closets, walk-in showers, and other custom spaces.
• Meet with clients to understand their goals, budget, style, and practical needs.
• Guide clients through selections including cabinetry, countertops, tile, flooring, lighting, plumbing fixtures, hardware, and other finish materials.
• Prepare and present estimates, explain options clearly, and confidently guide clients toward a purchasing decision.
• Coordinate projects from design through installation, keeping schedules, materials, subcontractors, and customer expectations organized and on track.
• Communicate proactively with homeowners, vendors, installers, subcontractors, and team members throughout every phase of the project.
• Maintain accurate project files, specifications, notes, and documentation.
• Manage multiple projects and priorities at once without losing sight of important details.
• Build lasting client relationships through professionalism, responsiveness, and exceptional service. What We're Looking For
• Proven sales and customer service experience, with confidence presenting estimates and asking for the sale.
• Exceptional organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to prioritize effectively.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• A proactive, dependable, and accountable approach, with consistent follow-through.
• The ability to solve problems calmly and keep projects moving in a fast-paced environment.
• Comfort learning new software, systems, products, and construction processes.
• A collaborative mindset, positive attitude, and genuine interest in helping clients create spaces they will love Preferred Experience & Qualifications
• Experience in residential construction, remodeling, building materials, cabinetry, flooring, tile, bathrooms, closets, or a related field is highly desirable.
• Kitchen and bath design experience is a plus, but not required. We are willing to train the right person who brings strong organization, sales ability, communication skills, and a desire to learn.
• General computer proficiency and the ability to learn cabinet design and project management software.
