Job Description
Role Description:
As an active member of the Building Division team, the Project Manager is knowledgeable of M&W Precast building products and is ultimately responsible for the overall budget of building projects while also coordinating with sales, production, and customers from contractual award, submittal, production, and delivery to allow M&W to reach or exceed goals and strategic plans.General Responsibilities and Duties:
- Communicate the Company's products and services to customers to provide general fabrication and production information.
- Attentively listen to and communicate with Customers.
- Carefully review sales contract, project specifications and drawings for application. Contact vendors and/or subcontractors for product information. Double check all calculations and screen specifications to ensure contract requirements are fulfilled.
- Develop a timely submittal package to provide the Customer with all necessary product cut sheets.
- Coordinate with drafting all drawings detailing items to be provided by the Company to fulfill the requirements of the project.
- After a submittal package is approved, create detailed individual fabrication drawings for the production team. Create a production packet with details of the project.
- Place orders for Customer approved equipment or services from vendors and subcontractors and monitor receipt of items/services. Assure all equipment and/or services provided are at or below budget.
- Enter custom fabrication items and materials in Company production software
- Coordinate all M&W jobsite activities as required and arrange and attend all project site visits with Customer and M&W representative(s).
- Schedule the timely delivery of the building with the production team, Customer and trucking firm. Review sales order for completeness and ensure information is accurate prior to delivery.
- Complete the necessary paperwork to ensure proper communication with the credit and billing department, sales, production, and dispatching.
- Provide sales drawings for projects prior to contractual award.
- Provide weekly updates regarding the status of building projects, production schedule, subcontractors schedules, delivery date for building team meetings.
- Communicate to supervisor/plant management regarding any customer complaints regarding quality, service, production, price, etc. and an action plan for remediation.
- Be aware and follow the Company's safety regulations and actively contribute toward a safe workplace.
- Follow all jobsite safety requirements and relay all necessary information to supervisor
- Assist in the training and development of new personnel and other staff as requested.
- Complete or assist with other duties as assigned.

Physical Requirements:
- Standing or sitting for prolonged time
- Occasional exposure to heat and/or cold
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration or related area of study or comparable experience.
- 5 years project management work or related experience preferred
- In depth familiarity with product line and applications in the precast industry preferred
