We pride ourselves on craftsmanship, transparency, and delivering beautiful homes to our clients on time and on budget. As a small team, we work closely together and rely on proactive, adaptable people to keep our projects moving. The Role We are looking for a highly organized and reliable Office Coordinator & Field Inspector to bridge the gap between our back office and our active jobsites. In this role, you will spend roughly 65% of your time in the office handling scheduling, permits, and admin, and 35% of your time in the field inspecting sites, tracking progress, and ensuring quality and safety standards are met.
Key Responsibilities Office & Administrative Setup Permitting & Compliance:
Track building permits and coordinate city/county inspections. Bonus points if you can prepare and submit building permitsScheduling & Logistics:
Assist with scheduling subcontractors, material purchase deliveries, and tracking project progress using google sheets andDocument Control:
Maintain organized digital and physical files for contracts, blueprints, change orders, and invoices.Communication:
Serve as a primary point of contact for clients, vendors, and trades regarding administrative questions and schedule updates.Software Management:
Google sheets Keep construction management software (e.g., BuilderTrend ) updated with daily logs, timeline, timecard tracking and schedules.Jobsite & Field Inspection Site Walk-throughs:
Conduct regular visits to active single-family home jobsites to verify progress against the project schedule.Quality Control:
Inspect the work of trades and subcontractors to ensure it aligns with blueprints, specifications, and our company's quality standards.Documentation:
Take detailed progress photos, record daily site conditions, and report any delays, damages, or missing materials to the Project Manager.Safety & Cleanliness:
Ensure jobsites are secure, clean, and adhering to basic OSHA/safety guidelines.Punch Lists:
Help generate, manage, and sign off on final punch-list items as homes near completion.Qualifications & Skills Experience:
1-3 years in residential construction, property management, or a related field.Industry Knowledge:
Basic ability to read blueprints and a general understanding of the residential construction sequence (framing, rough-ins, drywall, finishes).Tech-Savvy:
Proficient in Microsoft Office/Google Workspace. Experience with construction management software is a major plus.Communication:
Strong written and verbal communication skills; comfortable speaking with trades on-site and clients in the office.Mobility:
Must have a valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and a clean driving record to travel between the office and jobsites.Physical Requirements:
