Job Description
Experteer Overview In this Program Lead role, you drive change adoption and sustainable outcomes within the Distribution & Service Transformation journey. You align executive sponsors with cross-functional teams to turn strategy into roadmaps and measurable value. You ensure readiness, identify training needs, and orchestrate holistic changes across the organization. This position offers impactful work shaping transformation in a complex, distributed environment with strong collaboration and clear governance.
Compensation / Benefits
- Lead the implementation of strategic tasks aligned with business goals
- Develop multi-year plans and execution approaches to deliver capabilities and early business value
- Coordinate with sponsors and cross-functional teams to define scope, roadmaps, resources, milestones, dependencies, and timing
- Prepare status reports highlighting risks and issues for stakeholders
- Ensure team alignment, interdependencies, and coordinated execution toward program goals
- Develop performance metrics, dashboards, and tools to track key activities and progress
- Analyze performance, identify root causes, and recommend key work products
- Identify new program opportunities delivering integrated solutions for multiple partners
- Define and maintain program strategies based on demand and ROI
- Negotiate agreements and resolve disputes to maintain alignment between demand and capacity
- Mentor Program Managers in benefits identification and cross-program coordination
- Adhere to EPMO processes, governance, controls, and templates
- Drive adoption and sustainment of changes following USAA Change Management methodology
- Mentor teams on changing management practices and ensuring successful outcomes
- Maintain knowledge of program management methodologies and risk management practices
- Support communication of risks, progress, and impacts to leadership Tasks
- 8 years' project and/or program management experience
- Experience with Waterfall or Agile methodologies
- Advanced risk management knowledge
- Proficiency in program management methodologies and performance evaluation
- Proficiency in USAA's or similar change management methodology
- Experience managing large budgets and cost-related work
- Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills
- Expert-level knowledge of project, program, or portfolio management
- Ability to assess risks and rewards across technologies and business goals
- Ability to translate strategy into executable plans and drive outcomes Key requirements
